Overwatch Latest Update Mercy Changes Aren't Intentional, Blizzard Working On A Fix

Overwatch, the recently released new game from Blizzard, received a make new update on PC this week, introducing a multifariousness of features every bit well as the Competitive Play style. The new update besides included some undocumented changes for Mercy, but it seems like these changes, which heavily influence the character, weren't intentional.

Following the patch's release, several Overwatch players, including reddit user DongLord5000, have noticed some of import changes for Mercy that actually brand the character way less effective than before.

Prior to this patch, when healing/damage boosting an ally, you didn't need line of sight or to exist facing your current stream target to switch to the other stream. Now, if y'all want to alter streams on your electric current target, you need to reacquire the target completely.

Following the initial reports, Community Manager Lylirra finally confirmed on the Overwatch official forums that the changes weren't intentional. Designer Geoff Goodman also stated that the team is currently working on a set, and so things should go back to normal in the almost future.

Overwatch is at present available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in all regions. The Competitive Play update is now bachelor on PC and information technology will launch on consoles onetime adjacent week.
